Chemistry Central Journal, an open-access journal, published by Chemistry Central has now been accepted by Thomson Reuters for indexing in Web of Science (WoS). Beginning in 2007, this peer-reviewed journal is already tracked by PubMed, Scopus, and CAS. Acceptance into WoS means that the journal will receive an impact factor next year. Chemistry, an expensive field for journals, is making great strides in the open-access market.
